During a time of excited and continued growth, we are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team, onsite at our manufacturing site in Brockworth, near Gloucester. Dowty (a GE Aerospace business) is a manufacturing site producing market-leading, handcrafted composite carbon fibre propeller systems for Civil and Defence clients worldwide. This role provides HR support for client group Leaders, Managers, and Employees on organizational and employee matters, including coaching, HR process expertise, and other HR activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees & managers (approx. 240-250 stakeholders), offering coaching and support on individual needs and HR processes, aligned with the HR Partnership Model.
- Act as the HR Manager of record for your client group, understanding key business drivers and how your team's work integrates with others.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of HR disciplines, applying your expertise to execute policies and strategies.
- Operate as an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills, communicating effectively with colleagues and the business.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information clearly.
- Impact projects, processes, and procedures within your field, working with some autonomy and applying professional judgment.
- Use technical expertise and analytical skills to solve problems, leveraging multiple internal sources for decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Human Resources & Employee Management, with knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

- Proven ability to influence stakeholders effectively through strong communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems efficiently.
- Experience in documenting, planning, and executing HR programs.
- Project management skills; operational HR partnership experience in manufacturing or engineering is highly desirable.
