We have an opportunity for a Blade Operator at our Dowty Propellers Brockworth site. The role involves the execution of manual processes either on a rotating shift pattern in a production environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Blade composite processes to include but not limited to (Composite layup, Preform & Foam, Blade build, resin injection and deflash)
- Identifying and Implementing process improvements.
- Identify and hold responsibility for Quality & Environment, Health & Safety issues.
- Repairing.
- Ability to work night shift.
Essential Qualifications
- Demonstrate their ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership accountability for quality and EHS standards.
- Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site.
- Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
- Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing.
- Demonstrate good manual dexterity.
