Our client is a successful and well established local business looking to recruit a dependable and hardworking 7.5 Tonne Driver and Warehouse Operative.

This is a varied, hands on role that combines driving responsibilities with warehouse duties, offering excellent working hours, an early finish every Friday, and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team.

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am to 3:00pm and Friday: 6:00am to 12:00pm 40 hours per week plus overtime paid at time and a half. Offering £14-16 per hour

Duties

  • Deliver goods safely and professionally using a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
  • Plan delivery schedules alongside the Production Manager.
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure loads are secure before transportation.
  • Complete all delivery paperwork and vehicle records accurately.
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift when required.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties when not completing deliveries.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.

Experience

  • Valid 7.5 tonne driving licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
  • Clean driving licence preferred.
  • Reliable and organised with the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
  • Counterbalance forklift licence desirable, although full training can be provided.
