I am seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join my client's welcoming team based at their UK headquarters in Bicester.

In this Technical Sales Representative position, you will work closely with the Sales and Technical Manager to expand existing customer accounts and new business opportunities. This position will require national travel, and office based when not travelling (with hybrid working considered after probationary period).

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and delivering presentations and demonstrations
  • Assisting with any product related queries and issues
  • New business development with individual sales and team sales targets
  • Negotiating prices, and closing sales
  • Training and support for non-technical colleagues and customers

Requirements

  • NVQ level qualification in engineering and / or welding & fabrication is desired, but not essential. Previous work experience will be considered.
  • Experience in technical sales and customer account management.
  • A strong focus on increasing sales revenue
  • Exceptional problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills with experience in building effective customer relationships and resolving customer issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
  • An ability to relay technical information to non-technical clients.
  • Good teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel - the role is UK based with most travel being domestic but may, from time to time, require some international commitments.
  • Knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Office programs and ERP/CRM database experience is desired (training on company ERP/CRM will be provided).

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE and Car Allowance

Full Time Hours - Monday - Thursday 08:30-17:00 & Friday 08:30-16:00
