My client, based in Thame, is looking for a Forklift Operator. The role will be based in their transport yard and warehouse, reporting to the Transport Manager.
You will be required to:
- Work across various activities to support the pallet network for the Transport Manager including forklift operations.
- Move or collect items from the warehouse to vehicles ensuring all specific processes and Health and Safety guidelines are followed.
- Meet delivery targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Deal with customers politely and with respect.
- Act as a positive representative of our client at all times.
- Have the ability to work on your own with flexibility and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have:
- A current Counterbalance certificate.
- Previous driving experience with a full and clean driving licence.
- Flexibility, willingness to adapt and learn, and comfort working in a transport and warehouse environment.
Working hours are 45 per week Monday to Friday to be worked between 8.30am - 6.30pm (with 1 hour for lunch). Contracted overtime Saturday mornings 5am - 11am once per month.
Salary from £28,600 depending on experience with 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
