A friendly and well established business is looking for an Office & Workshop Coordinator to join their small team. This is a varied and hands on role that would suit an organised and proactive person who enjoys working across administration, customer service, accounts support and workshop coordination. As an Office & Workshop Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping the day to day operation running smoothly while supporting both customers and colleagues. Salary is competitive and based on experience, and the role is based at a rural location with the opportunity to work from home for up to one day per week following successful completion of probation.
Duties
- Prepare estimates and quotations for customers
- Process incoming work and prepare job sheets
- Support workshop staff by coordinating production requirements
- Organise deliveries and collections
- Produce invoices and assist with basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Maintain customer records and general office administration
- Order workshop materials and office supplies
- Answer customer enquiries by phone and email
- Support the overall running of the business as an Office & Workshop Coordinator
Experience
- Previous experience in estimating, administration, bookkeeping or a similar role is preferred
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Practical and willing to help wherever needed within a small team
- Full UK driving licence and own transport due to the rural location
- Reliable, proactive and capable of working independently
