Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician who enjoys working in a hands on role, travelling to customer sites, and delivering exceptional service.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, helping customers achieve maximum performance and reliability from their systems.
Offering £32,000 to £34,000 per annum, overtime available, although not guaranteed.
Duties
- Install and commission equipment at customer sites.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and identify effective repair solutions.
- Repair or replace defective components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Complete service reports, maintenance records and parts requisition forms accurately.
- Provide customers with guidance on equipment operation and basic fault finding.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety while working on site.
- Ensure all work is completed professionally and to company standards.
Experience
- Experience in a Field Service Technician role or similar.
- Proven experience working with mechanical systems and equipment repairs.
- Confident using hand tools and workshop equipment.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self motivated, organised and capable of working independently.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Comfortable working across a variety of commercial environments.
