Our client is a successful and well established local business looking to recruit a dependable and hardworking 7.5 Tonne Driver and Warehouse Operative.
This is a varied, hands on role that combines driving responsibilities with warehouse duties, offering excellent working hours, an early finish every Friday, and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team.
- Monday to
- Thursday: 6:00am to 3:00pm and
Friday: 6:00am to 12:00pm 40 hours per week plus overtime paid at time and a half.
Offering £14-16 per hour
Duties: Deliver goods safely and professionally using a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
Plan delivery schedules alongside the Production Manager.
Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
Ensure loads are secure before transportation.
Complete all delivery paperwork and vehicle records accurately.
Operate a counterbalance forklift when required.
Assist with general warehouse duties when not completing deliveries.
Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
Experience: Valid 7.5 tonne driving licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
Clean driving licence preferred.
Reliable and organised with the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
