Account Manager Role
Due to continued growth, I am pleased to advertise this Account Manager role with my Thame based client. The Account Manager is the main administrative point of contact with the customer. The Account Manager must be an excellent communicator, who will never allow a customer request/query to go unanswered – rather they will ensure that where practical, responses to all queries are generated immediately.
It is the Account Manager\’s responsibility to ensure that all arrangements are in place (and barriers removed) and to ensure the mutually agreed deal criteria/conditions are met: Quality terms, Costings, and Delivery timings. To achieve this, they are to (though not exclusively) liaise with External Suppliers, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Despatch.
The successful candidate will be a good communicator who is organised, committed, flexible, and determined in their outlook to ensure customer satisfaction. You will have good interpersonal skills, be capable of dealing with customer buyers, through to senior management and directors. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment and the capability of working on MRP based business systems would be an advantage.
Working Hours: 8:15am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 1pm on Fridays.
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Salary: £25,000 to £29,000 depending on experience.
