Downing Renewable Developments (DRD) is a renewable development team, responsible for identifying suitable renewable energy project opportunities and then undertaking the required grid connection, land agreement and planning processes to obtain successfully developed projects. Following the development phase of the projects, they will then be constructed and operated on a long-term basis.
Downing is seeking to hire an enthusiastic Project Coordinator who is passionate about renewable energy and delivering major construction projects. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Glasgow-based Renewable Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating resources, meetings, and project information to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of multiple renewable construction projects. You will support the planning and organisation of all project activities, ensuring they are completed within the agreed timeframes, budget, and scope. This includes:
- Project coordination and communication
- Documentation and reporting / financial tracking
- Project delivery support and administration
- Risk & issue management and mitigation
Key skills and experience
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Project Coordinator who is passionate about renewable energy and delivering major construction projects. We are keen to identify someone who brings the right blend of industry knowledge, technical capability, and effective communication skills. Ideally, you will have the following skills:
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
