We’re looking for an Intern to join our Infrastructure Asset Management Finance team for a 6-week paid internship over the summer.
Location: Glasgow
Duration: 6 weeks
Start Date: Flexible (subject to onboarding timelines)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including accurate data entry and invoice processing.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and presentation materials.
- Organise and streamline the document management system (SharePoint), ensuring all financial documents and agreements are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation for external audit purposes.
- Provide support in the preparation and submission of VAT filings.
- Collaborate with the finance team on various ad hoc projects and initiatives.
Education, experience, and skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with financial systems or tools (e.g., SharePoint, accounting software) is a plus.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
