About Downing’s International Programme
Established in 1998 for the University Partner’s overseas students, the Downing International Programme has since expanded to welcome international students, and is now an endorsed summer programme within the Cambridge academic community.
The Programme is split into three main sub programmes; Pre‑Sessional International Programme (15‑18), International Programme (15‑18), and Undergraduate Programme (18+), held at Downing College, Cambridge.
During the Programme, students will engage in a variety of academic activities such as lectures, workshops and visits to subject‑related laboratories. Students will also enjoy a vibrant social calendar featuring quintessential Cambridge and British experiences, such as formal dinner, punting and a history and political tour of London.
With cross‑disciplinary learning and empowerment at the core of the Downing College International Programmes, we are driven to ensure that students have the best experience that can be offered.
