Information for the role of (part-time) Conference AV Support Coordinator
Salary: £22,449.14 per annum for 29 hours per week
An excellent opportunity to join a prestigious organisation in a varied and fulfilling role in a small, friendly team. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- The setup and management of the College’s conference and event facilities for both internal and external events
- Supporting the setup and operation of the AV services for all meetings and events, including hybrid meetings
- The moving and lifting of equipment (manual handling training will be given).
To be considered for this interesting role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of A level in English Language, Mathematics and ITQ (or equivalent)
- Experience of working with, or using, a range of AV equipment, including theatre and/or conference presentation systems
- A knowledge of AV equipment, theatre lighting and sound systems
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Experience of working in a customer service role and good customer service skills
- The ability to move and lift heavy items (following manual handling guidelines and training)
The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a flexible approach to work and tasks. As you will need to work some weekends and evenings, flexibility on working hours is required. A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook) and of conference event booking software is desirable, as are a current First Aid qualification and UK-valid Driving Licence.
