The Duke Bar & Bistro is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to take the lead at our much-loved local venue. We take pride in providing quality service, a great cold beer and generous pub food, all delivered with hospitality that feels genuine and relaxed.

As the Venue Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to‑day running of a busy venue. We’re looking for someone with proven experience in large‑capacity operations, steady team leadership, and the ability to build strong relationships within the local community.

We’re after a leader who can set the tone for the venue, drive culture and guide people with confidence. Someone with presence – and the ability to inspire both their team and our patrons.

What’s on Offer:

  • Generous Salary $100,000 – $105,000 + Super
  • Quarterly KPI Bonus – $44,000 P/A

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of Venue Management experience
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced food & beverage‑focused venue
  • Experience within the hospitality industry, food, and product knowledge
  • Experience in a high‑turnover customer service environment
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and strategic hospitality management
  • Demonstrated team and leadership skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and change
  • Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area & industry
  • Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
  • State‑based qualifications RSA & Approved Managers Licence
