As we gear up for a big year in 2026, The Brighton Hotel is expanding its team and looking for a vibrant, food-and-beverage-focused Assistant Venue Manager to jump on board. In this role, you will be right in the thick of it, working alongside the Venue Manager to keep our iconic venue buzzing. We are after someone hands-on, energetic and ready to step up in a fast-paced environment where great service and great food matter. We are a much-loved local favourite, known for friendly vibes, quality food and ice-cold beers. If you love hospo and want to grow with a team that is always on the move, we would love to meet you.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in an Assistant Venue Manager role
  • Strong experience working with TAB
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Ability to stock take and investigate stock loss
  • Order and maintain par levels within the beverage department, food department, and venue consumables
  • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
  • RLMV & Approved Managers License
