This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced restructuring professional to work on a varied portfolio of challenging assignments, advising businesses and stakeholders on financial, operational and strategic matters.

About You

  • Previous experience in restructuring, insolvency, turnaround or advisory
  • Strong financial analysis and commercial skills
  • Experience managing client assignments and projects
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
  • Proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused

About Your New Role

Always

  • Manage restructuring and advisory assignments
  • Analyse financial performance, cash flow and business viability
  • Develop practical solutions to financial and operational challenges
  • Prepare and review financial analysis and client reports
  • Manage client relationships, deadlines and engagement risks
  • Review and support the work of junior team members

Often

  • Prepare financial models, forecasts and scenario analysis
  • Assess business plans and restructuring options
  • Work with management teams, lenders and professional advisers
  • Attend client meetings and present findings and recommendations
  • Support senior colleagues on complex assignments
  • Identify opportunities to improve business performance and cash flow

Occasionally

  • Assist with insolvency and turnaround assignments
  • Support transaction and restructuring projects
  • Contribute to proposals, pitches and business development
  • Attend networking and client events
  • Support wider advisory projects and initiatives

Never

  • Be expected to make the numbers look better than they actually are.
  • Be asked to make a Β£1m problem disappear with an Excel formula.
