This is a broad and varied role offering responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the business, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and supporting management with key financial information. About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience preferred
  • Strong financial accounting and management reporting experience
  • Previous experience in a Company Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar role
  • Experience preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across the business
  • Strong Excel and financial systems experience

About Your New Role

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strong financial controls
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
  • Manage cashflow forecasting and treasury activities
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insight to management
  • Assist with payroll oversight and transactional finance activities
  • Support year-end accounts preparation and audit requirements
  • Review processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Produce ad hoc financial reports and analysis
  • Support business planning and strategic projects
  • Assist with system enhancements and process improvements
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
  • Contribute to commercial analysis and investment appraisals
