About You
- Experience in an accounts, finance, or client services environment
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Your Responsibilities
- Always:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers for a portfolio of clients
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Assist with VAT return preparation and submissions
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance
- Support preparation of financial statements for a range of entities
- Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting
- Liaise with auditors and respond to audit queries
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Support and mentor more junior team members
- Assist with statutory reporting and year-end processes
- Support budgets, forecasts, and intercompany reconciliations
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Assist with ad-hoc finance and reporting projects
- Pretend to be Batman when there is a temporary power outage in the office
