The Benefits Hybrid and flexible working Birthday leave Professional study support Ongoing training and development Opportunities to progress your career About You Previous experience in a payroll role Experience using payroll software Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, pensions and statutory payments Good knowledge of payroll legislation and auto-enrolment Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues is desirable Relevant payroll qualification or working towards one is advantageous About Your New Role You will manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance and excellent client service while supporting the wider payroll team. Always Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and in line with current legislation. Maintain clear communication with clients and key stakeholders. Often Manage client payrolls, pensions and auto-enrolment requirements. Handle queries from clients, HMRC and third-party providers. Review and peer-check payrolls completed by colleagues. Support junior team members with technical queries and guidance. Maintain payroll records and identify opportunities to improve processes. Occasionally Deliver team training on payroll legislation and systems. Produce ad hoc payroll and operational reports. Support additional projects and wider team requirements.
