Downey Osborne is delighted to be working with a company who is seeking a Management Accountant to support the finance function in an interim period. This position offers an immediate start and is based in Mallusk.

About You:

  • Experience in Management Accounts

About Your New Role:

  • Prepare monthly overhead reports, working closely with department managers and providing financial analysis to support informed decision-making
  • Calculate and post month-end journals
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Deliver financial analysis and recommendations on an ad hoc basis as required
  • Support the management of stock control systems, recommending and implementing process improvements where appropriate
  • Maintain Bills of Material, including the creation and setup of new product codes as needed
  • Act as the lead point of contact with Production on stock count variances, driving and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct periodic raw material stock audits and review material management procedures
