This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join a well-established finance team and gain strong exposure to monthly reporting, financial controls and commercial analysis within a supportive environment.

About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data
- Experience supporting the preparation of management accounts
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and reporting
About Your New Role
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts including journals, variance analysis and commentary
- Complete and maintain balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts such as stock, payroll, fixed assets, accruals, VAT and intercompany
- Support the development and review of KPI dashboards using tools such as Excel or Power BI
- Analyse gross margin performance across products, customers and divisions, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities
- Review overhead spend against budgets and forecasts, preparing departmental reporting to support budget holders
- Support the Finance Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting
- Contribute to strengthening financial controls and improving reporting processes
- Assist with audit preparation and related finance documentation
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist with wider finance projects and analysis to support commercial decision making
