About You
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified Accounts Technician
- Experience in an accounts, finance, or client services environment
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with clear communication skills
- Motivated, adaptable, and keen to continue learning
Your Responsibilities
- Always: Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers for a portfolio of clients; Support the preparation of monthly management accounts; Complete balance sheet reconciliations and journals; Assist with VAT return preparation and submissions; Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Often: Support preparation of financial statements for a range of entities; Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting; Liaise with auditors and respond to audit queries; Work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients; Support and mentor more junior team members.
- Occasionally: Assist with statutory reporting and year-end processes; Support budgets, forecasts, and intercompany reconciliations; Maintain the Fixed Asset Register; Assist with ad-hoc finance and reporting projects.
- Never: Compromise on quality, ethics, or client confidentiality.
