Our client is a growing business looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. The Benefits £30,000 to £35,000 salary Study support 28 days holiday Free onsite parking Health cash plan covering dental and eyecare Death in service benefit 4pm finish on Fridays About You Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles Experience in credit control and bank reconciliations Good working knowledge of Excel Strong attention to detail and organisational skills AAT qualification or studying towards one is desirable About Your New Role You will support the day-to-day finance function, maintaining accurate records and assisting with reporting and reconciliations. Always Maintain accurate financial records and follow established procedures. Handle financial information with care and confidentiality. Often Manage credit control and customer account queries. Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Process supplier invoices and reconcile statements. Prepare journals and investigate discrepancies. Assist with management accounts, Profit & Loss reporting and cash flow monitoring. Occasionally Support month-end and year-end processes.
