Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will gain broad exposure across the finance function and play an important role in providing accurate financial information to support business decisions. Benefits £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience 28 days annual leave Company pension Study Support Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm Broad exposure across the finance function Support and opportunities for career development Belfast location with on-site parking About You We are looking for someone with: At least 12 months' experience in a finance or office administration role AAT/ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualification, newly qualified or currently studying towards Strong numerical and analytical skills Good communication and IT skills Excellent attention to detail A proactive and organised approach The ability to work well as part of a team Previous experience within food distribution or a similar environment would be advantageous Always Produce accurate and timely financial information Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail Work collaboratively with the wider finance team Take ownership of your workload Look for ways to improve processes and support the wider business Often Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules Post journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations Produce sales reports and management scorecards Monitor stock control and investigate discrepancies Assist with payroll and VAT returns Manage credit control and bank administration Complete weekly cost analysis Provide commercial input into product pricing Occasionally Work additional hours when required Support with wider finance projects and business initiatives Provide additional analysis to support management decision-making Never Let a discrepancy go unexplained Treat month-end as someone else's problem TPBN1_NI
