We are looking for someone with accountancy experience to join a dynamic and progressive team in Newcastle. In this key role, you'll manage financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support compliance and reporting requirements.

About You:
- Experience in accounting or finance, including reconciliations, VAT, payroll, and general bookkeeping
- Strong communication and client engagement skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software, with training provided where needed
- Able to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and quick to learn new systems and processes
About Your New Role:
- Always: Preparation of accounts jobs, Bank reconciliations, VAT returns and CIS returns, Preparation of wages calculations, Bookkeeping and reconciling, Preparation of ad hoc letters and reports
- Often: Customer communication and relationship management, Assisting with larger accounting projects alongside qualified staff
- Occasionally: Learning new processes and contributing ideas to improve workflows, Gaining experience with cross-border compliance matters
- Never: Long hours with no recognition, Drive your car blindfolded on the way to work
