This is a key position within the business, responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, producing management information for the Partners and ensuring the smooth running of the firm's internal accounting processes.

About You
You will be an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in internal finance operations and management reporting. You will bring:
- Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting processes
- Excellent systems skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience within a professional services or accountancy environment would be advantageous.
About Your New Role
- Prepare monthly management accounts for Partner review
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial data
- Complete control account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Process supplier payments in line with internal controls and approval procedures
- Support Partners with financial reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations
- Produce ad hoc financial reports and management information
- Support payroll and finance administration activities
- Monitor cashflow and financial performance
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of finance operations
- Utilise finance and CRM systems to maintain accurate records and reporting
- Assist with process improvement initiatives
- Support system enhancements and reporting developments
- Contribute to finance-related projects as required
- Provide additional support to Partners and senior management on financial matters
