About You

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified Accounts Technician
  • Experience in an accounts, finance, or client services environment
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative team player with clear communication skills
  • Motivated, adaptable, and keen to continue learning

Your Responsibilities

Always:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers for a portfolio of clients
  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and journals
  • Assist with VAT return preparation and submissions
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance

Often:

  • Support preparation of financial statements for a range of entities
  • Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting
  • Liaise with auditors and respond to audit queries
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Support and mentor more junior team members

Occasionally:

  • Assist with statutory reporting and year-end processes
  • Support budgets, forecasts, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance and reporting projects

Never:

  • Compromise on quality, ethics, or client confidentiality
