We are recruiting an Accounting Technician to join a dynamic and supportive accountancy team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in finance who is ready to develop their skills in a varied, fast-paced role.

About You:

  • Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI, AAT, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a finance or accounts support role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practice
  • Excellent organisational skills and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset

About Your New Role:

  • Always: Support a portfolio of clients with day-to-day financial reporting and compliance, prepare bookkeeping records, VAT returns, and assist in preparing management accounts, maintain accurate ledgers and client records in line with best practice, build trusted working relationships with clients and team members.
  • Often: Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries, assist with year-end file preparation for review by senior staff, support colleagues across client work, deadlines, and internal systems, take part in team discussions around workflow and process improvements.
  • Occasionally: Assist with ad hoc assignments, such as grant applications or business support tasks, attend client meetings alongside senior team members.
  • Never: Feel like your work goes unnoticed, your contribution matters here.
