About You

  • IATI or AAT qualified, or actively working towards your qualification
  • Experience in an Accounts Technician or similar finance role
  • Highly accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Confident using accounting systems and comfortable handling data
  • Proficient in Excel and general IT applications
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong communicator with a proactive, collaborative approach

About Your New Role

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes across the finance team
  • Prepare accounts to trial balance stage with precision
  • Maintain the general ledger, including posting journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Process supplier and sales invoices and assist with payment runs
  • Reconcile bank and control accounts accurately
  • Keep financial records and documentation up to date and in line with best practice
  • Assist with VAT returns and support audit preparations
  • Prepare financial reports and contribute to data analysis tasks
  • Respond promptly to internal and external finance queries
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve finance-related issues
  • Support improvements across finance processes and systems
  • Manage commission queries and reporting tasks
