We are partnering with a leading professional services firm to appoint an Associate Director to their growing Corporate Tax Advisory team. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to work as a trusted advisor to a broad client base, supporting complex tax matters and strategic planning. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to the continued growth of the practice, and play a key role in mentoring and developing talent within the team.

About You:

  • Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, CTA, ATT, ACCA or international equivalent) or possess significant relevant experience
  • In-depth expertise in UK corporation tax with a broad awareness of other UK taxes
  • Proven experience managing complex tax advisory work across multiple sectors
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and contribute to business development initiatives

About Your New Role:

  • Always: Acting as the primary contact for a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering tailored tax advisory services; advising on tax risks, compliance obligations, and strategic planning opportunities; collaborating with in-house and external specialists to deliver joined-up, practical solutions; translating complex technical detail into actionable insights for clients.
  • Often: Meeting with clients to discuss business changes, upcoming tax developments, and planning strategies; reviewing UK corporate tax computations, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency; leading and developing high-performing teams, supporting career growth and service excellence.
  • Occasionally: Taking a leading role in major, cross-functional advisory projects; driving innovation and process improvements within the Corporate Tax team.
