About You:
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience in general practice, with a strong focus on accounts preparation and business advisory
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Motivated, commercially aware, and committed to continuous improvement
About Your New Role:
- Always: Preparing and reviewing financial statements for a broad range of SME clients; Managing client relationships, providing strategic insights and financial guidance; Overseeing the compliance process, including tax returns and audit planning where applicable
- Often: Offering tailored business advice, helping clients achieve financial and operational goals; Supporting junior staff, reviewing work and contributing to their development; Attending client meetings and contributing to broader business discussions
- Occasionally: Leading small audit engagements from planning to completion; Taking part in ad hoc projects such as due diligence assignments or systems reviews; Participating in training and CPD sessions to continue building your technical knowledge
- Never: Long hours with no reward; Cleaning the office microwave (probably)
