About You
- Member of a Recognised Accountancy or Supervisory Body
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in audit, accounting practice, or regulatory oversight
- Strong grasp of professional, technical, and ethical standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organised with outstanding communication and influencing skills
- Comfortable producing clear, professional reports for a range of audiences
- Skilled at juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
- Full clean driver’s licence and ability to travel across Ireland
Your Responsibilities
- Always
- Carry out inspections and monitoring visits to member firms
- Evaluate firms’ processes, compliance, and governance against professional standards
- Review work performed by firms, including audits, accounting, investment business, and anti-money laundering activities
- Interview firm principals and team members to understand practices and controls
- Produce detailed reports with findings, insights, and recommendations
- Suggest improvements to raise quality and efficiency
