About you:

  • A person able to plan and lead group work and 1:1 intervention sessions for students with literacy needs and who are finding mainstream classes a challenge.
  • Someone with good communication and organisational skills that will include dealing with parents, outside agencies and the students.
  • Someone who will provide inspiration and support to the student support team working around them.
  • Someone who has a good level of literacy, ideally A‑Level or above.
  • An individual who has an understanding of the barriers to learning including social and emotional behaviour needs.
  • Someone with good emotional intelligence and patience as well as the confidence to work with secondary students from KS3 and KS4.
  • Excellent organisation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
