About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Utility Surveyor to work on a major project within a London airside environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled survey professional to join a high-profile infrastructure project with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out underground utility surveys and mapping activities.
  • Conduct surveys using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Electromagnetic Locators (EML), GPS/GNSS, and Total Stations.
  • Produce utility mapping deliverables in accordance with PAS 128 standards.
  • Interpret and process survey data to a high level of accuracy.
  • Prepare survey reports, drawings, and associated documentation.
  • Work safely and efficiently within an airside operational environment.
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and airport stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all site‑specific health, safety, and security requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Utility Mapping and Surveying.
  • Proven experience undertaking utility mapping and surveying projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PAS 128 utility surveying standards.
  • Experience using GPR and EML equipment.
  • Ability to process and interpret survey data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and have a clean DBS.

Desirable Requirements

  • Existing airside pass or previous airport project experience.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Experience with Leica, Trimble, IDS, or equivalent survey equipment.
  • CAD and survey processing experience.
