Dower & Hall is an independent British jewellery brand with over 35 years of heritage. We design and create contemporary jewellery using recycled precious metals, ethically sourced gemstones and pearls, selling through our own website, retail store, department stores, marketplaces and international partners. We are looking for a commercially minded Business Development & Key Accounts Manager to help drive the next stage of our growth. This is not a traditional sales role. We're looking for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, spotting commercial opportunities and turning them into results.
Working directly with the founders, you'll help develop existing key accounts while identifying new opportunities across wholesale, corporate gifting and strategic partnerships. Current and potential partners include John Lewis, Nordstrom, Wolf & Badger, Farfetch, independent jewellers, marketplaces and corporate gifting opportunities.
The Role
- You will take ownership of developing and growing existing accounts whilst identifying new opportunities to increase revenue and expand brand awareness.
- This role combines key account management, business development and strategic partnerships, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact within an ambitious independent business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy.
- Grow existing key accounts and build long-term retailer relationships.
- Identify and secure new wholesale customers and strategic partnerships.
- Develop opportunities within corporate gifting, hospitality, travel, lifestyle and premium brand collaborations.
- Present collections and launch new products to customers and partners.
- Attend trade shows, networking events and customer meetings.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with our marketing, ecommerce and production teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Maintain an active pipeline of new business opportunities.
About You
You'll probably have experience in business development, wholesale, account management or partnerships within jewellery, fashion, luxury, gifting or another premium consumer brand. You'll be someone who:
- Loves building relationships.
- Thinks commercially.
- Enjoys opening new doors.
- Is confident presenting to customers.
- Is organised, proactive and self-motivated.
- Likes taking ownership and making things happen.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel within the UK when required.
- Comfortable representing Dower & Hall at meetings, trade shows and customer events.
