Dowen Farmer Architects is seeking an architect or project architect with commercial experience to join its team in London. Dowen Farmer Architects is an energetic practice focusing on the design and delivery of beautifully crafted, site‑specific architecture across a multitude of sectors, including residential and commercial. As a growing studio, we are keen to bring people on board who want to be part of the journey and have the aspiration to be long‑term members of the team.
What we are looking for:
- Stage 3 onwards or experienced in schematic design
- You being a confident designer with a clear understanding of the commercial and residential space
- Capable of leading projects
- A diverse software skillset, including proficiency in BIM in practice (ideally three years’ experience on live projects)
- Experience in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite essential, Enscape preferable
- Self‑management and hunger to take on more responsibility running projects; if you want to be part of key decision‑making, you are in the right place
- You buying into our studio atmosphere, fast‑paced, energetic and collaborative
- Individuality and bringing something different to the studio with a unique way of working and a fresh perspective
Salary depending on experience. We are a studio of around 25 individuals and are based in Peckham Levels.
