The production and photo editor will manage all duties related to design, production, and photos of Financial News and Private Equity News. You will report to the Editor, Financial News and Private Equity News.
Responsibilities:
- Designing front page of Financial News and cover page of Private Equity News and ensuring the publications' production process are smooth.
- Being the photo editor to add all photos to both publications and sourcing them from PRs when needed.
- Liaising with the online editorial team on photos and being in charge of illustrations when needed.
- Make templates to ensure both publications have standardised processes.
- Work on the paper and be responsible for all associated tasks until print PDFs are ready.
- The person should have a good eye for detail and have basic subbing skills like spotting typos.
- Work with the marketing team on promotional material for events and presentations when needed.
- Work with the tech team on website design changes when needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience as described in responsibilities.
- Strong eye for detail and basic subbing skills (e.g., spotting typos).
