About the Role: You will be working as part of the UK based B2B sales team, taking part in day to day account management, sales research, and revenue related activities including lead generation, lead sourcing, sales event preparation and customer retention and onboarding activities. During the internship, you will be learning about the core Dow Jones B2B solutions and offerings, such as Risk & Compliance, Factiva, Dow Jones Analytics & Newswires, WSJ Council Memberships and WSJ.com and how we position those in the marketplace.

You Will:

  • Work as part of the UK based B2B sales team and help the team in driving new revenue opportunities by collaborating in lead generation exercises.
  • Support the team on key sales campaigns that have been prioritized as part of sales management’s objectives.
  • Lead certain market research efforts in an effort to discover new revenue paths for the business.
  • Assist in key customer retention and customer journey initiatives such as product migrations, new product launches/placements.

You Have:

  • Completed at least two years of University level study.
  • A good understanding of business tools such as (Excel, Word, Google Suite, LinkedIn).
  • An excellent team player and communicator.
  • Experience in researching through online tools and search engines.
  • Desire to learn about sales, relationship management and customer success management.
  • Work well under time constraints and good with time management and task prioritisation.
