What You’ll Be Doing

Working alongside experienced sales professionals, you’ll learn how to spot new business opportunities, engage prospective clients, and help grow Dow Jones' Professional Information Business. Throughout the programme, you will combine academic study with hands‑on experience by applying your Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship learning directly to real-world business challenges. Working alongside Sales Executives, Account Managers, Product Specialists, and Marketing teams, you’ll learn to research industries, engage key decision‑makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and manage sales pipelines using tools like Salesforce CRM. Supported by structured coaching and mentoring, you'll continuously build your skills, run targeted campaigns, and take on increasing responsibility to drive business growth.

We don't expect you to have previous sales experience! We are looking for potential, passion, and a genuine eagerness to learn.

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSEs: Grade 4 / C or above (under the new numerical or traditional grading structure) in both Maths and English.
  • A-Levels / Level 3 Qualifications: Minimum Grade C at A-Level (or equivalent Level 3 qualifications such as BTEC or T-Level) that meet entry requirements for the degree apprenticeship provider.
  • Right to Work: You must have an existing and unrestricted legal right to work in the UK for the full duration of the 3-year programme (please note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role).
