The Global Risks Analyst delivers high-quality assessments on cross-cutting, thematic analysis to SIAS clients. You will sit within Dragonfly's analyst team and report to the Strategic Intelligence Manager based in our London office. The Global Risks Analyst works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and contacts to deliver timely, actionable intelligence and analysis.
You Will Undertake and deliver global security and geopolitical intelligence research, analysis, written reports, data visualisations and client briefings and presentations to agreed deadlines for clients. Be a strong team player and collaborate with regional analysts, data scientists, and engineering and design teams to help develop and maintain decision-support tools including our global risk rating system and other products. Contribute towards developing team capabilities to collect insights on global risk issues and apply an innovative approach to working with data and applying multidisciplinary approaches to generate analytical insight and foresight. Contribute to key team outputs, including the annual Strategic Outlook and monthly Geostrategic Estimate reports, and contribute to achieving team goals in accordance with our business strategy. Provide responsive customer service and develop positive working relationships with clients and prospects.
You Have:
- 1-2 years experience in political risk, intelligence analysis, strategic risk assessments, and/or geopolitical issues research.
- Conducted research and analysis on at least one of the following areas: conflict and instability, climate and environmental risk, emerging technologies, energy and resources, global health, or international governance.
- Applied data-driven methods to political or security issues research and analysis and statistical or other forms of predictive risk models or risk rating systems.
- Experience in a collaborative environment with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build productive relationships to deliver on goals.
- An undergraduate degree or higher in international relations, political science, or a related field to the thematic areas listed above or equivalent work experience.
