About the Role
WorldECR is seeking an Editorial Assistant to support the editorial team across a broad range of publishing activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and consistency of editorial output, while also providing operational and administrative support to the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop strong editorial skills within a respected Dow Jones publication and gain exposure to specialist subject matter including compliance, sanctions, business, law, and geopolitics.
You Will:
- Copyedit, proofread, and fact-check editorial content for the WorldECR journal and website
- Conduct editorial research and support the development of written content
- Assist with preparing content for publication across digital and PDF formats
- Support the editorial team with administrative tasks, including providing logistical assistance for WorldECR events
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Help maintain editorial workflows and contribute to continuous improvement of processes
You Have:
- Two to three years of relevant professional experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated editorial aptitude, including copyediting, proofreading, and writing
- A genuine interest in compliance, business, law, geopolitics, or related subject areas
- A high level of motivation and attention to detail
- An entrepreneurial, collaborative, and adaptable working style
- Previous administrative or operational experience
- Prior exposure to or experience working with subject matter related to compliance, business, law, or geopolitics
