- You Will
- Partner with leadership to architect, operationalize, and maintain a comprehensive risk analysis, controls, and assurance framework tailored to Dow Jones Energy.

- Define and monitor control frameworks governing the use of AI, machine learning tools, and automated data ingestion, while embedding risk-by-design principles into the new product development (NPD) pipeline.
- Implement controls to safeguard against antitrust issues, commercial conflicts of interest, and regulatory non-compliance.
- Partner with Data Governance and Tech teams to establish control standards around data provenance, intellectual property usage, third-party licensing, and data security.
- You Have
- Demonstrable experience in risk management, internal controls, regulatory assurance, or operational risk, preferably within financial data, energy/commodities markets, or publishing.
- Broad domain exposure to operational risk areas, including data governance, AI/tech governance, antitrust/competition law considerations, event operations, and product development lifecycles.
- Proven analytical ability to map business processes, identify latent control gaps, and design pragmatic, non-bureaucratic control solutions.
- Executive presence and strong communication skills to articulate risk concepts clearly to senior business leaders, technical teams, and commercial partners.
- A proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on shifting risk management to an upfront strategic enablement function.
