The position calls for a multi-talented editor who possesses an understanding of – or eagerness to delve into – regulatory areas such as sanctions, human trafficking, anti-corruption and financial crime, as well as geopolitical, cybersecurity, climate and supply-chain risks.

Dow Jones Risk Journal serves an audience of risk, compliance and legal professionals as well as executives throughout businesses who are responsible for assessing and mitigating risks. It comprises a digital platform, podcast, analytics, newsletters and events.

The publishing editor will help direct coverage from Asia and Europe; be responsible for final editing and publishing of articles; and curate and prioritize coverage. This editor must have a keen understanding of the needs of business and financial professionals, and be capable of publishing top-quality journalism that informs readers, puts news developments into context and provides actionable analysis. This editor should approach journalism from the perspective of ensuring it can help the readers in their day-to-day work. This includes practical takeaways that can be applied by risk and compliance professionals to enhance their policies, programs or strategic discussions.

Strong written English, excellent news judgment, a close eye for detail and the highest standards are required.
