About the Team:
As part of the Risk organization, the B2B Risk Marketing team is responsible for driving business growth in partnership with the product and sales teams of our core businesses: Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, Global Risk Insights, Storyful, Factiva and Newswires. The team runs a client centric approach focused on industries and accounts developing and activating strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, build our reputation and deepen relationships in these select industries and accounts.
About the Role:
This is a maternity cover role for an expected duration of between 6 and 12 months, starting second half of September 2026. In this role, you’ll be responsible for marketing to leading corporate and financial organisations within EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), with a particular focus on the United Kingdom & Ireland (UKI) and North and Central Europe (NCE) markets which includes Germany, the Nordic and Benelux countries. Your goal will be to help drive revenue growth by executing a global plan with regional adaptations as necessary that drives awareness, positions Dow Jones as the trusted partner of choice, builds a reputation for our capabilities and expertise, and deepens relationships with key clients. This role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders internally, notably from the sales, proposition and product teams. Based in-person in our London office, you will work on-site in our office at least three days a week, and will report to the Senior Director of B2B Marketing EMEA.
You Will:
- Work in partnership with the Sales and Proposition teams to develop and maintain a deep understanding of the key issues facing the organizations in the markets you serve to be able to create and execute impactful marketing campaigns.
- Based on those insights and business priorities, contribute to the Global Marketing team’s strategy and plan to build awareness of Dow Jones’ capabilities and expertise; and deepen relationships with key decision makers in select target markets and accounts.
- Collaborate with the Events Marketing Manager to develop an event marketing strategy that builds awareness, creates new business opportunities, and deepens relationships with key decision makers in select markets and accounts.
- Create compelling content that engages with the buying personas in target markets.
- Collaborate with the Global Digital Marketing team to build a plan that is effective in reaching and engaging the select markets and accounts in EMEA, driving the necessary awareness and preference.
- Monitor its effectiveness and provide feedback to improve.
- Continuously monitor and report on progress on key KPIs particularly account revenue growth, cross-sell and white space expansion.
You Have:
- A minimum of 7 years of B2B Marketing experience, ideally in Field Marketing, Industry Marketing, and/or Account Based Marketing targeting Fortune 1000 corporate customers.
- Experience in marketing Risk & Compliance Data and/or Business Intelligence solutions is a plus.
- Experience strategizing and executing event experiences is highly preferred.
- Account Based Marketing experience driving awareness, building reputation, deepening relationships and partnering with sales to drive revenue growth in a very targeted set of accounts.
- Proven experience working with multiple business stakeholders and driving consensus around client centric strategies.
- Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of other European languages, particularly German, will be an advantage.
- Experience in effectively managing marketing budget and time, and ensuring maximum return on investment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Adept at data analysis and using data to tell stories and drive strategy.
