This reporter must have a keen understanding of the needs of business and financial professionals, and be capable of publishing top-quality content that informs readers, puts news developments into context and provides actionable analysis.

This reporter should approach journalism from the perspective of ensuring it can help readers in their day-to-day work. This should include practical takeaways that can be applied by risk and compliance professionals to enhance their policies, programs or strategic discussions. The candidate must be a self-starter and comfortable with occasional additional duties such as moderating live journalism interviews and making media appearances. The candidate also should have an eye toward how to use visuals and data, when appropriate, to enhance storytelling.
