The production and photo editor will manage all duties related to design, production, and photos of Financial News and Private Equity News. You will report to the Editor, Financial News and Private Equity News.
Duties include:
- Designing the front page of Financial News and the cover page of Private Equity News and working with the production editor to ensure the publications' production processes are smooth.
- Being the photo editor to add all photos to both publications and sourcing them from PRs when needed.
- Liaising with the online editorial team on photos and being in charge of illustrations when needed.
- Making templates to ensure both publications have standardised processes.
- Working on the paper and being responsible for all associated tasks until print PDFs are ready.
- The person should have a good eye for detail and basic subbing skills like spotting typos.
- Working with the marketing team on promotional material for events and presentations when needed.
- Working with the tech team on website design changes when needed.
5+ years experience expected.
