The Client Associate is a key member of the EMEA sales team, partnering closely with Client Partners to support revenue growth across Dow Jones's portfolio of integrated advertising and partnership solutions, including digital, print, events, audio, video, custom content and broader marketing programs. This role is designed for a highly organised, commercially minded team player who can help move opportunities forward, deliver excellent client support, coordinate effectively with internal partners and contribute to a high-performing sales environment.

In the EMEA team structure, the Client Associate will focus primarily on sales support, client coordination, proposal preparation, pipeline management and commercial follow-through.

Responsibilities:
  • Support all aspects of media sales activity for designated Client Partners, Associate Clients Partners, acting as a reliable day-to-day partner across active accounts and opportunities.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with clients, agencies and internal teams, ensuring deadlines, materials and follow-ups are handled accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Coordinate core print execution tasks, including confirming positioning and premium inventory, pulling rates from Print Monty, preparing print IOs, sending print specs, following up on materials, sharing booking details with Print Ops and attaching rate approvals in Salesforce.
  • Liaise with Ad Services and other internal stakeholders to resolve creative issues, flags and operational questions, while helping develop proactive solutions, partnership concepts and pricing support.
  • Maintain Salesforce hygiene, including account and deal creation, pipeline clean-up and allocation or adjustment requests with director approval.
  • Respond to agency and client questions regarding WSJ Barron's Group advertising and create complimentary subscriptions for clients and agency partners when needed.
  • Coordinate and prepare client proposals, meeting prep decks and supporting materials for presentations, sales calls and RFP responses when needed.
  • Support prospecting and revenue growth by generating new ideas across print & digital, identifying new lines of business and monitoring assigned accounts, competitor activity and market developments.
  • Handle key print-related follow-up tasks such as sending e-tears, voucher copies and assisting with print billing communication, print quality disputes or other dispute resolution.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Early-career in sales support - ideally 0-2 years of experience.
  • Strong interest in media, advertising, client partnerships and integrated marketing solutions across multiple channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with clients, agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and pace.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic commercial environment.
  • Strong presentation, coordination and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with core business tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Interest in luxury, business or premium media audiences is helpful, though not essential.
