Travel & Tourism Lecturer

Salary Range: £31,000.00 – £40,500.00 p.a (FTE) – dependent on experience

Employment Type: Part time (30 hours pw), Contract

A renowned educational establishment is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Travel & Tourism Lecturer to cover on an ongoing basis. Access to state-of-the-art facilities, modern classrooms, and a supportive environment for both students and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures and demonstrations to students studying Travel & Touris coures (across levels 1 and 2).
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive course material that aligns with the curriculum objectives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the curriculum, incorporating the latest industry trends and advancements.

Requirements:

  • A level 3 qualification in a Travel and Tourism or a related field or relevant experience in the sector.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is desirable.
  • A teaching qualification is advantageous but not essential – Experience will also be considered.
  • The ability to cover both theory and practical sessions.
