Are you passionate about delivering high-quality education to learners? We are working in partnership with a leading college to recruit a Teacher of Religious Studies. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Salary: £38,766 - £60,092

Location: South West London

The Role: The Religious Studies Teacher inspires and challenges students across Key Stages 3 to 5 through engaging, high-quality lessons rooted in the school's Jesuit ethos. The role involves careful planning, assessment, and classroom management, alongside collaboration with support staff and active participation in school life. Strong subject knowledge, a commitment to student progress, and a passion for inclusive education are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons that cater to students of all abilities, taking into account prior attainment and individual needs.
  • Assess, record and report on student progress in line with school and departmental policies.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and strong relationships.
  • Contribute to the wider school community by attending meetings, supporting departmental initiatives, and taking on the role of Form Tutor.
