The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a passionate Music Tutor to join the dedicated Education, Skills Work team at HMYOI on a part-time basis (3 days per week). In this deeply rewarding role, you will deliver engaging, inclusive music learning programmes that inspire young learners, help them channel their emotional expression, and equip them with essential life and academic skills aligned with their resettlement goals.
What You Will Be Doing
- Engaging Delivery: Plan and deliver progressive, high-quality music sessions that "teach to the top," stretching and challenging learners across performance, composition, technical skills, and teamwork.
- Embedded Core Skills: Naturally embed reading (lyric analysis, script work), Maths English (rhythm, timing, counting, sequencing), and restorative practice principles.
